Dear Lords and Ladies, supporters, friends of Movile, Transylvanian enthusiasts and noble donors,

we hope that this Newsletter XXIII reaches you in good health. Despite the ongoing worldwide pandemic, we have continued to work diligently on our project this year. Two of our club members moved to Movile and Harbach Valley just before the pandemic started. This was a big advantage and our ideas and projects could continue to be pursued with great enthusiasm despite the very limited travel possibilities.

Summer Camp for Teenagers from Berlin

In August 2017 a very special event took place in Movile: a group of teenagers from the protestant parish in Berlin-Kreuzberg spent their yearly summer camp in Transylvania. We designed the program for their two weeks long stay in Romania and offered the teenagers a special insight into Transylvania and a fascinating and diversified summertime.

Dear friends of the Movile Churchfortress Project, we want to wish all of you a happy new year and would like to give you a small update about the recent activities in the last year and an outlook on our planned activities in the upcoming year.

After very intensive times of work and long discussions, we now also have an official logo! Our logo design group didn’t make it easy for themselves. A lot of drafts have been drawn, discussed and refused again. Finally, a colorful logo with stylised hills and the fortified church in the foreground has been chosen.
